Articles > A letter to those who failed PE Civil examI'm sure many of you, myself included, were pretty upset when you opened that email and ended up seeing your results. I know I had to take a minute to just sit and stare at the dashboard, trying to think of how to tell my boss, or everyone who wanted to know how I did.
The reality is, it's over. This test has been done and the results are set. But our decision on what to do next is not!
I don't know about the rest of you, but there's still lots of drinking, good food, friends, and family in my near future, and I intend on enjoying that. Don't let this dampen your holidays in any way. Take this month to shrug it off, enjoy yourself and the company of other!
Come January though, I'm hitting the ground running. All my books are already tabbed, I've got the first test experience out of the way, and more importantly, the knowledge of where I did good, and not so good. This is going to be a big part of my planning. Rather than going in with having blanket studied, I know where to focus my attention, both from the results and from the test questions themselves.
This exam, much like this year, was rough. No one walked out of that room whistle'n dixie. But don't let that discourage you, this is one of the hardest exams of our career! Read how to prepare for next PE Civil Exam.
