What is Marble?

Marble is a white rock with very little dirt and impurities inside it. The addition of the impurities add blue, red, black and yellow colors to the marble. The basic color of marble is white, because it is a flexible limestone form. When impurities such as iron oxide, clay minerals, and bituminous materials are added to the marble. This stain creates a combination of colors in pure white marble. Marble stones are sedimentary rocks, beginning to form due to the metamorphism of white limestone. Lemon stone is made by CaCO3. Limestone is a fine, non-crystalline rock, while marble is a white CaCO3 in crystal form.

Use of Marble in Buildings:

Benefits of Using Marble in Buildings:

In addition to giving a good look inside and outside the building, there are many other benefits of using marble in buildings, such as protecting the building from erosion and weather, water leaks, heat protection etc. To understand all of these benefits, the following lines need to be considered.

1. Marble is used as a protective layer in walls and floors when exposed to chemical and sulfate attacks.

2. Marble does not allow water to flow down into the walls of bathrooms, toilets and markets.

3. Marble provides a cooling effect, as its white color is a poor conductor in heat.

4. Marble is used to lay the floor, as its use prevents erosion, footprints.

5. Marble provides attractiveness to the building and, therefore, is used as a beauty tool.

6. Marble is a soft and shiny material, which can be easily cleaned and washed.

7. If marble is used as a rowing wall, we do not need to install concrete on the walls before placing marble in it.

8. The use of marble also saves time and money on whitewash, when covering walls.

Types of Marble Tiles:

Large part of marble used in building is a tile shaped marble. In rare cases of construction, marble is used in small bricks and blocks. Largely marble is used a sheathing and a covering material of a structure. Marble tiles are of different types and how they differ from one another, is mentioned in the following lines.

Crema marfil-marble tiles: Quarried in Spain, crema-marfil comes in a variety of looks. The most popular and well-known tiles are light beige or yellow with the same background and veins that vary in strength and durability. Crema marfil is widely used with other black colored stones, and is widely available for exterior, floor and decoration. Large market availability and large size make this an attractive option for homeowners and builders.

Carrara marble tile: This type of marble tile is available in white, gray and blue colors. It is widely used in decorating and engraving houses and buildings. The tile installation for this type of tile is very straightforward, and can be soft / smooth, thin and feathery. It gives an amazing look. It can be easily accessed and widely used in residential buildings. To give a clean look due to its combination of brightly colored white paint, it is used in bathrooms and bathrooms.

Statuary marble tile: This type of marble is considered to be the sister of Carara Marble. Official marble includes the same layer as bright white tones with contrasting lines and are even more stunning. Its bright white layer gives it a bright, shiny, bright light and provides a radiant finish that enhances any room.

Calacatta marble tile: These marble tiles are often mistaken as Carlcutta, Calcata, and Calacata. Although Calacatta marbles are commonly found in the Carrara region of Italy and share the same characteristics as Carrara marbles, such as white-gray, they have distinctive features. Calacatta marbles are white with black veining in large, thick patterns. In some homes, it can add an extravagant look when combined with a stainless steel kitchen sink or white toilet paper. Rarely than Carara, many people view Calacatta as a luxury stone. Calacatta gold marble adds to the richness of the tiles, and can produce warm and cool tones by matching the same colors.

Emperador marble tiles: Originally built in three regions of Spain, the stone varies from white to gray combined with Calacatta and Carrara and comes in a variety of brown colors. It usually shows good grains with irregular veins. Its dark color makes it ideal for a great walk or a fireplace.
